Trip home-meeting Easton

I went home in July because I just couldn't stand not seeing my nephew for another 2 months, I just had to see him. I was not planning on this trip but I was talking to my mom on the phone and I was just curious and looking at plane tickets and realized I could get a pretty good price so I booked my ticket that night. I left a few weeks later. It was the most unplanned trip but one of the best.
I landed about 930 that night and my parents had to go pick up something from Marcus and Mandi's house, it was on the way to Courtney's so I really didn't think anything of it. We got there and Marcus answered the door. I gave him and hug and I was barely through the door and Mandi was giving me a hug and at the same time she was trying to shut the door. She actually shut the door on my toe, I was wearing flip flop, it hurt so bad. She was shutting the door so I would see something hidden behind the door but I wasn't even paying attention. She had this all planned and it really didn't work. I was a little worried about my toe. Oh I forgot to tell you that before I got on my flight home Mandi told me Marcus had something to tell me. I was so curious the whole flight. So, I was worrying about my toe and Mandi said Marcus has some news to tell you and the whole time this is going on everyone keeps looking at eachother like I was totally missing something really important. Marcus then told me that he is going to go to school to become a firefighter which I thought was really cool. I was thrilled but still everyone was acting weird. Mandi then made me look over by her and there was a little baby bassinet. I took one look at it and then at her and she gave me a little nod. I was completely shocked and overjoyed. I had no idea. I started crying, of course. I hugged Mandi for awhile and then gave Marcus a hug. I am so happy for them, they have wanted a baby for so long and the time is finally right. I was so surprised my whole family was able to keep this from me until I came home. I had talked to Mandi earlier that week and she was really short with me. I didn't think anything of it until she told me that she was having a hard time from saying something to me. After the tears had dried up and the hugs were over it was time to go and my hurt toe was completely forgotten. Now that I found out I was going to have a new niece or nephew I was ready to see my newest nephew. I couldn't wait.

Cooper and Easton were both still awake when we got there. I got to hold Easton while we just talked and he fell asleep in my arms. It is the best holding a cute, sleeping baby. Cooper was all over Easton, all the time. It was great seeing Cooper again. I just love kids and especially Cooper. I hate to say this and I hope my other nieces and nephews later to come will never hear this but Cooper will always be extra special to me.
Babysitting Easton, I can't wait to be home to do it more often.

I seriously couldn't put him down.

I spend the majority of the time with my nephews. Courtney was happy because she got her free babysitter back for a couple of days. Easton is the cutest baby ever. He was only a month or so when I was there so he didn't do a whole lot but just sit with you. I love that part though. Cooper is so obsessed with Easton. I had heard about how Cooper would not leave Easton's side ever but could never really imagine it. Well, while I was there, he was all over Easton, ALL the time. He was just like a brother who won't stop bothering you and just pestering you the whole time except Cooper was trying to give him kisses and hugs, it was really cute sometimes. I think he just can't wait until he can run around with him and actually do something. Also, while I was home Mandi let Cooper borrow her Wii and he played all the time. He is really good. His best sport is bowling, he was great. I actually have a video of him below running and bowling like he was doing it for real, it was really cute.

Cooper bowling on the Wii. He would start so far back and then run and bowl it was the cutest thing ever.

Cooper celebrating after his great bowl.

This trip was all about my nephews and my family. I got to hang out with them a lot and it was the best time ever. I was so happy I got to spend that time with them. I can't wait to move back home and spend as much time as possible with my nephews and my new niece (she's due in March).

Yay an update! But why does it go below the last post? Or am I totally lost?

It went below the last post because I started writing this post before I wrote the last one. I didn't realize it would do that. More updates to come, I really am working on it. I have a whole list of posts that I am doing. You will be impressed.
